Pitt is really hurting with out Polamalu and Holmes. Defense more so then offense last week Pitt got lucky when Palmer over threw his guys about 90% of the time cause the ball was wet. But I really hope Pitt wins...even though I didn't pick them in the contest.

pitt def has a chance, and Polamalu should play, so that def helps their chances
a few interesting matchups
pitts running game vs pats def. pitt has the 3rd best running offense in league while the pats have the 6th best rushing defense. some of the stats are deceiving tho with this. the pats have more rush tds than pitt(13 for ne vs 7 for pitt), and thats with pitt having like 50 more rush attempts and a bit over 200 yds more for the season. so pitt must pass more in the redzone(pitt has 25 passing tds, while NE has 41).
NE passing game vs Pitts D- pitt has the number 1 passing defense, and are in the top like 10 in almost every category.. lowest completion percentage against, lowest passing yds gained(2nd place is like 200 yds ahead!!!!), # 5 in passing tds allowed, tied for 4th in sacks, vs NE has the top passing offense, and it in the top 10 in almsot every category.. #3 in completions, #1 in competion %, #1 in passing yds and passing yards per game, #2 in yards per passing attempt, #2 in int allowed, #2 in sacks, and #1in Qb rating

Not even one of those teams is a top 10 team unless you want to say the Browns which i won't do cuz i think they are overrated as well. I think the Pats will win this by atleast 14 and win it easily. But if Pittsburgh can put up a fight maybe im wrong but the steelers have had the easiest schedule in the nfl by far so far that ive ever seen.
