(I´m not sure if you are already talking about that topic ... would be really nice to tell me!)
When I talk about cancelled TV-shows, I think of shows like "Firefly" (cancelled after 14 episodes), "The Crusade" (same here), "Futurama", and so on...
...all these shows were cancelled because some guy (whoever that may be?!) thought that nobody wanted to see them! But at last it turns out that a lot of people liked them ... though they´re never continued!
...And there are a lot more of them...
In my opinion this is quite a pitty.
What do you think?

A agree about Firefly, that was a great series and they canceled it, remember the series angel (from Buffy the vampire slayer) was another great show that they just canceled. alot people wrote in about it, but they still canceled the show.

Firefly was a GREAT show... Serentiy the Movie was also excellent. I don't know why these people do this. I mean FIrefly was essential set up to be cancelled. The episodes were aired out of order and all 14 never actually aired on TV only 11 of them.
Farscape was another great show that was cancelled. The fans got a miniseries made for it to kinda wrap up the loose ends at least. The show has been off the air for 5 years I believe now and for it not to be that popular there are still conventions held for it every year.
There are a few others over the years but those are two of the most current that I just didn't get them canceling.
I miss John Doe and Surface too both left us on a cliff hanger at the ending

Angel ended with a good ending in my opinion. one you can interpret for yourself. since the fight against evil will never be finished just a series of battles. to maintain the balance.

I loved Farscape! That is the only sci-fi stuff I watched. Now I have nothing. :(

Damn fogot about John Doe that was a suck ass way they ended it just a kaput and no news about it or anything. Come to think of it I've never seen it available on DVD either and that is strange for any TV series in the past 6-8 years. Especially a FOX show LOL.

Ben Browder and Claudia Black both went to StarGate SG1 but... lol that series came to an end too. They still have the one movie left.

Well I sincerly doubt that Ben and Claudia were the downfall of SG-1. I firmly believe they were brought on to try and revitalize it as that show was cancelled more then once and then picked up again at the last minute. I remember when it was originally on Showtime. They dropped it and I believe SCI-Fi picked it up. Then when (McGyver sorry can't remember his name atm) left the show they were about to pack it in again. They brought in Ben and Claudia I believe it was to try and get teh Farscape fans over there to bring it back to the Top. Sadly it Failed but SG-1 was by far one of the BEST shows to run for as long as it did. Sorry Rant off =(

Well good news The Binic Woman(2007) will be back. The writers strike just has it stopped at the moment due to needing new content. I believe Jericho Begins with new episodes in February. Sci-Fi is airing the first season starting soon.

i agree with Farscape and Firefly. series done way to early-RIP--also Futurama-Fox supposedly had over 600,000 letters of protest when they canceled it but it didnt help-the figure came off a Sci-fi link so I don't know how true that is
I really liked The Bionic Woman, The Black Donnellys, and Jericho
Jericho isn't canceled, new ones be airing sometime

Richard Dean Anderson.
It wasn't due to lack of ratings. They maintained high ratings throughout the final season of SG1. They have the two movies with possible plans in the future for more.
Also there might be a possible Spin-off called StarGate Universe.
According to show runner Robert C. Cooper, the "series maintains the spirit of Stargate, but opens up a whole new 'universe'." It is currently being developed as "a completely separate, third entity"—as opposed to Stargate Atlantis, which was created as a spin-off from the first series Stargate SG-1.
Robert C. Cooper has revealed that the new series will revolve around the ninth chevron on the Stargate and will take place during the present time, not in the distant future. It would be the first time that this topic is used in a series of the franchise. According to him, "It plays a major factor in the third series". He also stated that the series is expected to be released sometime during 2008. It is not yet in production, with the writing scheduled to start after the conclusion of the direct-to-DVD movies.
A leaked document written in October 2007 revealed that the show may take place on an Ancient ship sent on a voyage thousands of years ago to explore the distant universe and seed new stargates. The ninth chevron links the Stargate directly to this ship. The Ancients ascended before the ship could be put to use and it has been traveling ever since. The document indicated that the idea had not yet been pitched to any networks, so the plot may have since changed
And of course there is always :D StarGate Atlantis!!!

Be great to see a SG continue in anyway. I watched the show all the time for a while then Sci_Fi cancelled FarScape and the wife banned me from Sci-Fi so I didn't watch for a year or two and kinda lost the following. I watch em in sydication when I catch them and know people with all the seasons on DVD.

Christopher Titus had the best sitcom ever, Stacy Keach playing his badass father (Ken Titus -Wussy!), Zack Ward as the dumb brother (Dave!) it was a very smart comedy

I loved the stargate series. and Daybreak was a great series to watch, too bad they couldn't come up with something for another season. And even though its really old, the A-team needs to come back, haha!
