Call of Duty 4

talk about a game that grows on you, the single player is a bit short and can be beat in well under 20 hours, but the multiplayer after the first hour or two becomes completely addicting..... it seems the entire world is online playing this from people I've talked to, so much so that the ps3 & xbox people are re-working their servers from what I've heard to account for issues the popularity of this game exposed.

i only played the single player on pc, and it was so good, but as you said a little short. Great game. I just love the cod games, except for part 3 that sucked.

careful pro, the online is addicting, I think i've got like 26 hours logged online so far and I usually can't find enough time to play, haha

enjoy the single player, i loved the plot line

i've played this game while i've been away, only the single player on the pc but it is a truly brilliant game :D not only the graphics but the story line, sound effects and quality

No worries. I'm about to hit 3rd level prestige and my room mate is on his 5th level now. It's fun to start over, I think :)

great pic there of the icons, really simplifies it. Funny I've seen a ton of 2's, a lot of 3's a few 4's some scattered 5's and then quite a few 10's but I've never seen 6-9 and seem to see more 10's than 5's. interesting.

Was playing the other night on live with some guy who logged like 32 entire days playing thusfar, and I though I was bad at 4.... 3rd prestige here I come! haha


And protender, this game is a ton of fun if you're on the right team, I'll have to pay more attention to when you sign on and see if you are on COD so I can send you an invite, I hate playing solo without those you know will work together.

well i have had cod4 for over a month now and from that time playing it i say it's the best 1st person shooter i have played in awhile.

The single player's storyline is awesome the graphics and the detail that they put into the game from the building,vehicles,guns,characters,etc. is very good.

And the Multiplayer is addicting i love the leveling up system that they put into it and unlockables that you get from hitting a certain level or by getting x amount of kills to get a attachment or camo for the gun you are using.

And then there is prestige mode once you hit level 55 you can reset back to level 1 and get a cool looking icon next to your name and unlock all your stuff again.

Map Pack comes out April 3rd... Woot!!! I'm level 38 now on my 3th prestige. I got a good 3 man crew so anyone who wants to join up... add me. We play most weekends and some evenings around 7-9pm central. Xbox Live name is Zodmeister. Just add a message telling me where you know me from. I don't like to have a ton of random friends on my list LoL. We're not hardcore clanners or anything.... in fact, I hate clanners LoL. We usually play Domination.

10 bucks was steep for 4 maps... and I hate Broadcast LoL. But I love Creek and Chinatown is pretty cool too. You just gotta keep an eye on all the windows LoL. Haven't played through Killhouse yet.

Still waiting for them to add killhouse, no idea what the hold up is, chinatown is nuts with all the similar looking buildings seems I'll never truly learn that map, and the concept of creek is interesting, but I don't like the cliff sniping that seems to dominate that map.
