I would like to first say thanks to all the people who have joined the forum an showed love to Nikki. A little over a week and we have 1200+ members :)

With that I bring to you the first Nikkis Forum Olympics. The rules are simple. Beginning August 2nd at 9:00am and ending August 9th at 9:00am members can compete in the Nikkis Forum Olympics consisting of these five games:

Asteroids (http://www.nikkisforum.com/arcade.php?do=play&gameid=100)
Yeti Sports 1.5 (http://www.nikkisforum.com/arcade.php?do=play&gameid=242)
Chopper Challenge (http://www.nikkisforum.com/arcade.php?do=play&gameid=101)
Jason's Pong (http://www.nikkisforum.com/arcade.php?do=play&gameid=139)Members can play as many times as they want and must add up the totals of the five games combined. Only scores that are played during August 2nd to August 9th will be allowed and their final total scores must be posted here on this thread by 9:00am August 9th.

Winners will receive the following:

Onr other thing im not totally sure of is the scoring. Pacman high score is 65k while high score for chopper is 1200. Seems like if your a kick-ass pacman player your a shoo-in for a top spot. I suck at pacman :thumbcrack:

hmmmm a valid point... however i guess you'll have to practice :) There is only one score on pacman that is 65k all the rest are under 10k and all scores don't count unless they are posted between august 2nd and august 9th so the 65k won't count.

Ha! I got 22k in pacman without really trying so maybe I have a chance! You should do this like very other month or so, chose random games and have a contest. First prize can name a puppy! :dogmating:

Before I forget, you said to add the total of the 5 games combined, does that include as many Pacman/Pong/Asteroid, etc high scores or just the highest? I ask because I've noticed the High scores tracker will also put you in 2nd place, 3rd place, etc if you score that high, so if someone were to be very good at pacman (me :P) kinda would make it unfair.

It will be one high score per game combined. You can keep playing the games to try to get a higher score, but only one score per game will be taken

if the scoring difference of pacman compared to the penguin game is so great, why not do a point system so you get a set amount of points for a place?
i.e. you get 10 points for being 1st, 9 for being 2nd, 8 for being 3rd and so forth...would that work or is that a bad idea?

Sorry but i have a question , there is already nbre 1 winner in all of these arcade games , so is there still any chance to beat the highest score or no more trying ?
and my 2cnd question , do i have to be the highest score in all the games to win the prize or just any game of the games that you mentioned?

the way it works is you play the 5 games, takes the highest score you got on all 5 of them between 8/02 and 8/09 and add them up. so yes if you got first in all of htem your score would be highest :P
