So my brother in law used to have a truck, a 1992 Ford F-150 standard cab 4wd. He loved the thing, but after getting married and having 2 kids, had to drive a Ford Expedition 4wd. Well, 2 days ago, he goes out and buys himself a brand new 2008 Ford F-350 4 door 4wd diesel. Sticker on this thing was $56,500 !!!!

So I decided to take pics of his truck next to mine, a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 4wd. For some time I thought my truck was big.......NOT! Looks like I may be getting that 6" lift kit sooner than I thought....

daaamn I never understood why some trucks have to be so damn big

payments.... mine is 672, he is paying 944 !!! BUT, my gas is getting 11.5mpg and his diesel is getting 10.1 so far. I am trying to talk him into going with a programmer, intake and exhaust. That will take him from 350hp/650tq to 500hp/800tq. :-)

And as for why they have to be so big....well, I am a big guy, its the only vehicle I can really fit comfortably in.

only time i see "lift kits" are on trucks with the rebel flag on the back window a gun rack and beer cans flying out of the windows.....oft followed with a hollow but unmistable *yyeeaahhhaaaa bubba*..... damn south.

oh and i'd want a Humvee....gas is killer but i could bloody drive over rush hour traffic....stop sign??
