for some reason, i think of this story at least twice a week. when i was about nine or ten, my father and i were playing baseball in the backyard. he threw this pitch and i nailed it way into the back of the yard. he was running backwards and stepped in a hole, fell down, and broke his ankle. i was laughing hysterically because i didnt know he was hurt. he was laying there propped up against the fence with a catchers mitt on, saying "get your mother". so i got her and off we went to the hospital. for the next couple of months while he healed, he must have jokingly said a hundred times, im gonna get you back for laughing at me! skip ahead, skip ahead, hes all better. we go out to play baseball in the back yard again, and we decide im gonna be up to bat first to start where we left off. he gets ready to throw the first pitch, and its a fastball. it hit me square in the face. I'm on my ass crying, and he says, "see i told you id get you back." To this day he swears it was an accident, and just thought it was a funny thing to say at that particular moment. looking back though, it was a pretty funny thing to say.

i was practicing soccer in a gym and my friend who has the worst luck with getting hit in the nuts with just about any projectile you can think of tried to volley the ball out of the air (it was a really high ball which would have had a rough bounce) and he missed and it came up and just nailed him in the nuts
i couldnt stop laughing...
there is my two cents to the thread
