Your favourite model wallpapers?

I thought it would be a fun idea that wallpaper makers could post their favourite model walls they´ve done (i guess people that don´t make walls can post their favourites too).
Maybe a thread like this can help someone struggling with inspiration.

Here´s twelve of my favourite model wallpapers that i´ve made and a little explanation of what the hell i was thinking when making them.

I got this idea that i would make wallpapers that looked like movie posters and they were gonna be based on songs or songtitles.
This one is based on Theatre of Tragedy´s song "A Rose For The Dead" and some of it is also kind of a version of an image from Cradle of Filth´s "Cruelty and The Beast" album.

Every time i see an image of Ariel Rebel David Bowies song "Rebel Rebel" starts playing in my head. I wanted to make something using the lyrics from that song. I like the colours on this one.

I used to make wallpapers for Brittany´s site and this is probably the one i like the best.

I like the colours on this one and the cartoonish way she pops out of the wallpaper.

This is the oldest of these walls. The thing that took the longest to make here were the vampire teeth, you would think that would be really easy but it took ages getting them to look right.

This is one of the first walls i made where i tried to use light and shadow to create some sort of mood.

It might be a bit oversharpened but other than that i quite like this one.

The lyrics on this one is from Within Temptation´s "Forgiven". Around the time i was making this i pretty much only made walls with two different themes, sadness or horror.

I originally used some other lyrics on this one but Danzig´s "Her Black Wings" fitted a whole lot better.

This is the kind of wallpapers i find the most interesting to make, it´s also the ones that´s the hardest to get right.
If you make a cutout and plop it in front of a background there´s not really much that can go wrong but it probably won´t be great either.
When you make something like this where you use textures, brushes and stock images to "tie" everything together it can look just awful but if you get it rigt it can be really awesome.
This one is ok i think, it´s not great but it´s not terrible either.

I had been watching an episode of Criminal Minds (or maybe it was CSI, i can´t really remember) and there was this shot of a girl that had been murdered and dumped in a dirty alley.
That shot kind of stuck with me and a few days later i made this.

This one is kind of inspired by some of ArtFink´s walls.

Ok, so that´s some of my walls. As you can see i don´t make "sexy" wallpapers, i always try to make something that i find interesting and as a result my wallpapers often end up kind of dark and fucked up.
I don´t really make wallpapers of models anymore but i still like to see what other people are making. So if anyone else is interested in posting their favourite walls just go ahead.

I always love your style, the only thing that lets some of them down is the text, its always very flat. (im just nit picking to make yours better in the future, not to be an ass, lol)

Ive tried an failed at this style you do plenty of times.. i personally pefer clean cut stuff as you know. but can appriciate these all the more i guess!

i think were the only two still standing after along time makin walls at NNB man.. strange we both used to work for britt too, lol.

Ps. i dont think this should just be limited to wallpapers, for you, the av's you make could be put here too because theres always hot.

Yeah, i don´t know where everyone´s gone. There used to be some really good fanartists just a year or two ago. I looked around at some model forums and the wallpaper section is pretty much dead on every one. One thing that i have noticed is that most of the really great fanartists on "mainstream" fanart forums are female. I guess that reflects on these model forums as well. Most guys on adult forums seem to just want something "sexy" and when the few people that make something artisticly interesting disappear there´s noone there to take over.
