It's hard to believe how things have changed so much since Bill Clinton left office, isn't it? The economy was flourishing with a huge surplus, no major wars, lots of jobs for americans, stock market performing great.

Now after 8 years of Bush, who will go down as the "worst" president ever by most folks, the economy is in a recession nearing a depression.

Record deficits so high that the debt ceiling had to be raised at least once during his time it got so high.

Jobs being sent overseas for cheap labor for job losses to americans.

Also Bush starting up a war with Iraq that turns out that had nothing to do with 9/11 after all leading to countless amounts of money being sent overseas to fight an unnecessary war with many losses of lives of our brave soldiers. I feel so sorry for all the brave soldiers that have fought and been killed in a war that was completely unecessary. The US never found the first Weapon of Mass destruction either that it said contained lots throughout the region. Lie after lie after lie, when will all this end.

I told everyone 4 years ago, if you vote this idiot (Bush) in again don't start fussing about everything he's done wrong in the aftermath. I don't want to sound arrogant or anything, but to speak honestly I told you so about Bush, lol.

Barring some kind miracle here in the final 4 weeks, it evitable that Obama is gonna be our next president and he'll have the opportunity to help clean up the massive damage the Bush administration has done during its 8 years.

has anyone read the new book By Vincent Bugliosi about charging Bush for murder? dude's brilliant, I think it would be a good idea for a prosecutor from any of the 50 states to step up and actually press charges on him. I mean noone's above the law including Bush. you should probably check out the book it's not bad

Ordinarily when our Country is involved in a war, the economy is aided by jobs and work created to support the war. War is what helped this country get out of the Great Depression.

Companies profit in wartime. Halliburton is proof of this.

Some say that Bush is the only President to lead our Country into a recession / depression, during wartime.

He only won election to one term, not two. And what was done, in the 4 years after the Florida "Hanging Chad" debacle, to ensure a deception like that won't happen in this election? Just like everything else during these Bush years, another dropped ball.

Worst American President? Without a doubt.

Don't forget about Congress. While wall street (big businesses) were making money from all of these high risk loans that has destroyed our economy, Congress was very busy looking the other way and spending time debating steroid use in Baseball. Or spending some 18 months to discuss the merger of XM and Sirius Satellite Radio, more time by far than it took congress to approve the merger between Exxon and Mobile (the biggest merger in U.S. history). And McCain is in favor of millions of dollars of tax breaks for oil companies, when they report record profits?

It's time for a change. I agree with your comments JM.

Any of you ever seen the film Zeitgeist? It pretty much shows us that we are already in debt. Even before bush. Our economy is fucked either way

I think McLovin from the movie SuperBad or John McClane (Diehard) would do a better job than McCain (McCan't, McLame, etc.) lol.

Obama for President!

Obama is leading so far on up to date projected electoral votes 357 electoral votes to McCain's 181. Remember it only takes 270 to win!

Yeah, that's what all republicans say. LOL The thing is, republicans always chase after sexual indescretions, inuendo, and gossip of democrates out of one side of their face while dipping into your wallet with the other side. The real problem with Republicans is that they don't cheat fair. Remember Nixon? Ford had to pardon him, and the only one who might pardon Bush is McCain this time. Now I'm an independant voter, but even I still want to know what happened to all of those hanging CHADS. And nobody trusts Palin, so why vote for an almost dead man's VP girlfriend? The media chased Hillary out of the race in favor of a lightly tanned african american. You remember the media don't ya? They're republican biased. So to make ammends to the women voters they put Palin on their ticket against the same black man. The only thing is that they didn't take the time to really check her out, and are just now finding out that she's a bit of a bimbo. Sorta like the last puppet bimbo still in office. LOL Okay, nough said on this subject. I still want to know what kind of bimbo doesn't get her laundry cleaned after giving a blow job?
