Wow - some 6th inning last night, huh?
Any clue when they'll resume, since the weather promises to be shitty for the next few days?
And - thoughts on who's getting the short end of the stick right now?

wait a minute, u mean someone is actaully watching the world series?
2 boring teams who regardless comes out on top, will be forgotten for all of history... ive never had less interest in a world series.. sorry, just the way i feel. if i had to pick who id want to win, itd be the rays, good story there, but ultimatly, im just not excited at all for this series..
as far as the rain delay, ur right, enxt couple of days are supposed to be sucky, so who knows when they will pick up, but its def an interesting development, gives both teams a chance to rest, regroup, and get prepared for the last few innings..

oh, i'm not paying that much attention to it myself, i catch a few innings here and there.
Happened to notice the highlights . . or lowlights . . on epsn, noticed they played the top of the 6th inning in what appeared to be a swamp before the game got 'suspended' - - - shouldn't it revert to the score at the bottom of the 5th, and the phils win? - - and wondered what other people thought of what seems to me to be a fiasco.

Yup - that's what I just saw:

Now, if Tampa wins wednesday, I wonder if they'll play Thursday night, with no travel day, or push game 6 to Friday.
really - just kind of getting silly at this point.

They will play tomorrow, if Tampa Wins, same thing happened last year in the NLCS and they don't like to make the series last longer than what they allocated to it.

I hope Tampa comes back and wins, but the odds of that happening is very slim now being down 3-1 in the series.

they should not of even started the game but they went ahead anyhow.as far as stopping it it really should of been stopped mid 3rd.

they have to play into the 6th inning to call the game...choice a winner and seeing as how they went 6 innings and it was tied they kind of had to suspend it.

Actually, they need to complete 5 innings for a game to be official (or 4.5 if the home team is leading at that point).
Having started, but not finished, the sixth, the score should revert back to what it was at the bottom of the 5th, and that would be the final . . phillies win.
If, that is, Selig wasn't an ass for starting in the first place, and now afraid of looking like an ass if he actually follows the rules of the sport.
