I feel like im going to scratch my legs off! When we shot Roxy yesterday and friday I got eaten alive :( I have 11 on one arm alone and the ones on my legs are driving me crazy not to mention the ones on my feet!!! Worst place ever to have a mosquito bite is on the side/bottom of your foot!!!
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrg!

dont go shirtless in costa rica
i did for about 45 minutes and i had literally about 200 mosquito bites all over my back, chest, stomach, arms, legs...sleeping was pretty much impossible
once you scratch one, you have to scratch them all

Keep a couple bottle of Cortizone 10 near by at all times, and always keep a bottle of John & Johnson Baby Oil with you. The oil will keep them off of you and the baby, and the cortizone will relieve the itching if you do get eaten.
Stay away from Florida during the Summer on rainy days. (Which is about half the summer). The Florida State Bird is,.....http://cornellcollege.edu/biology/insects2003/erinmorgan/images/mosquito.jpg

Thats what mumbles is for ;)
Or you make a 50/50 water and baby oil in a spray bottle, then your set, but you'll have to reapply every couple of hours.

Ugh. at least you got to see them/a chance to squash the little fuckers. My legs are still chewed up from a buncha no-seeums while I was up in Maine. Standing on some rocks and next thing I know I have red welts growing on my ankles. meh.

The worst one I ever had was one on my arm right before I went to the Bahamas when I was 18. While I was there I scratched the shit out of it in my sleep and because my skin was sweaty I scratched all the skin off an now I have a 2 inch long scar where the bite was.

There is truth to this eat. The more Garlic you the less blood suckers will bite. Trust. Going 3 years without being bitten now, all because I use a ton of Garlic on "everything"

i don't mean to turn this thread into something dark or what not...but prevention is essential people...it's summer and Mosquitos are the primary carrier of West Nile *next to birds* so please for all our sakes wear protection and if any symptoms develope from a bite get immediate medical attention BEFORE it's too late.

that's why you need to use repellant...it would suck if Nikki or Roxy got west nile from a mosquito bite....we don't need that.
