Flash Question

For some reason, none of the camshows that use Flash have been working well for me. Basically, it's just really chunky and doesn't stream very well. I have the most recent version and I have cable internet, so bandwidth shouldn't be a problem. Anyone have any ideas of what the problem could be?

I don't like it , don't know what it is....windows is the shit, I can resize and still get a clear picture. Can't do nothing with flash except full screen and it's grainy

Flash format isn't even good for regular videos, let alone live video. I'll give Camclique credit for theirs being much better in picture quality than other sites using flash, but its still not a good format. It can have less lag than wmv, but buffer settings on wmv allow you to make them pretty close to the same. I would expect way more people to have problems with it than wmv. With live flash you don't have the option of using a media player, you're stuck with it in your browser & very little configuration options. Resizing drops quality a ton, if you even get that option. I could go on & on, hahahah. :D

But you can try right-clicking on the flash video and changing the quality, but that often has little or no effect. I haven't taken the opportunity to check if it does anything on CC yet. Try different browers too if you can. I still have IE6 for watching video, and its always seemed better than using Firefox or Opera for me.

I agree with you on all points. I've tried both Firefox and IE and it doesn't make a difference. Using Flash give me flashbacks to my days of watching scrambled porn. Granted it's not as bad, but my frustration level is about the same:)
