I will probably check it out when it hits dvd, but It's killing horror. how fuckin hard is it to come up with a slasher flick? come on I can create fifteen different ideas in a few minutes why remake this and nightmare? it's ridiculous and you can't replace Robert Englund so the Nightmare on Elm Street remake is going to be shit

This is getting silly. I guess i can kind of understand if Hollywood wanna make remakes of lesser known (but very good) european and asian horror movies. But a crappy franchise like Friday The 13th? I guess the first part were the least bad one, the worst were perhaps part two where they couldn´t even come up with new murderscenes so they simply copied a couple from Mario Bava´s "Bay of Blood".

I personally think this one is gonna be better. The Halloween remake wasn't very good...and I agree nobody can replace Robert but this is Friday. Not that :) I think it is gonna be scarier because this Jason can fuckin' run and all, whereas before he was kinda slow.

I will see Last house on the left but not when it comes out... it looks like a good remake, and yeah they need to get new ideas but honestly Friday the 13th was actually GOOD, bash it all ya want but it was pretty decent compared to the Halloween remake. At least Wes Craven, as far as I know, is doing the remake of Last house on the left... so yea, he knows what he's doing, obviously. As for the Nightmare remake? I may see it, but I bet it will be horrible b/c nobody can replace Robert Englund, end of story. but whatever. :rolleyes
