I'm hoping for Va Tech to have a good year and at least live up to their top ten ranking. I haven't really been too impressed with them since they joined the ACC though. The ACC is a basketball conference, they have never been all that much competition in football *sigh*

Fighting Irish or Rutgers?? well nice sleeper picks... just not gonna happen
ND might lose 7 games this year or even start 0-8 and people wouldn't be THAT shocked.
Big Blue's looking for a NC this year Lloyd better open up the playbook fans are getting too restless seeing the talent being misused as it has been lately.

I believe it is THE biggest upset of all-time! A Division I-AA team has never beat a beat a ranked I-A team. Until yesterday anyway! I personally believe there is a HUGE bias towards the big 10 and pac 10 as far NCAA football rankings go. Even if Michigan would have got the win, it still shows they were greatly over-rated. You shouldn't struggle like that against a non-conference, unranked opponent. USC didn't impress me at all in their opener either. I'm hoping the Huskers will take them out in 2 weeks.

I wouldn't say Michigan is overrated with that loss.. i'd say that they were severely unprepared and horribly coached AS USUAL by Lloyd and his staff of goons. Great recruiter... horrible gameday coach.. horrible adjuster.... horrible game manager. UM's teams and fans deserve better.

Carr will be out after this season, unless they manage to run the table from here on out. They have to beat Ohio State. No doubt his seat is the hottest in the land! Michigan is a great program with some great players. But what I saw on Saturday was not a top 5 team, and I agree with you, the blame falls on Carr, the team was unprepared and poorly coached.

Carr.. fired... now!.. How in the hell do you have 8 years to prepare for a spread offense and still fail??? I didn't think it was possible... I really didn't Hell fire the whole team all but a few players. This isn't Michigan football. They gave up and quit on plays, didn't play hard, didn't make on field adjustments. Adjustments are just as big of the players faults as the coaches. They're on the field, they see whats going on and who's lining up where and who's being burnt and who's missing tackles. Hell show some MICHIGAN pride!!! I'm done with THIS team until they can show that they DESERVE to wear the Maize and Blue colors. This....this isn't Michigan. Imposters wearing similar colors at best.

If the maize and blue boys lose to Notre Dame this weekend, I swear I will open a major vein! However, if Va Tech loses to Ohio this week; not only will I open a vein, but I will...I will... I will... well, hopefully, I won't have to worry about Va Tech. Who in the hell hired Lloyd Carr anyway? PLEASE tell me it wasn't Bo!!
I have to tell y'all, I am in a living hell living in Clemson territory! I HATE CLEMSON!! You would think they were playing for the stinkin national championship this week by the way everyone is talking around here! All I want to know is: when are those dickheads actually going to play a REAL football team?? Let's see, Fla State, Univ. of Louisiana (Monroe), and this week...... Furman University!!! Some pretty good games this week! Michigan actually woke up and played ball, Texas survived a scare at UCF, the Gators showed Tennesee why they are the defending national champs, and UCLA got buried by Utah! USC finaly got a quality win, hoping to hang on to the no. 1 spot. LSU took care of business. Oklahoma came out and dominated again this week. OU is averaging 61 points per game!

Michigan may have awaken but that depantsing of ND doesn't get them out of Hot water just yet. ND's a bad bad team.. but true UM stepped it up. I'm just sick of them thinking they can take off games and still come up with a win, just because they are Michigan. The day's of talent winning games over all opponents is over, they don't seem to have gotten that memmo yet. I do believe Bo hired Lloyd as an assistant quite some time ago.
Bo was great, but he's not the end all to college football. Michigan should let Bo's legacy live in the past and run an offensive scheme to keep up with modern defenses. Bowling over people is only gonna get you so far. If you draft speed at WR, use it!... Love Joe Pa and what PSU brings to the Big Ten but...
Go Blue... c'mon boys!!! Beat PSU!

In week one, Michigan loses to non-Division 1 team, Appalachia State (or however it's spelled), and drops to #7.
Two weeks ago, #1 USC loses to Stanford and drops way down to #10, and this week survives against Arizona and drops to #14?
This week, #2 Cal loses to Oregon State and drops out of the Top 10?
Meanwhile, #1 LSU loses to Kentucky and only drops to #4?

Ohio State doesn't deserve the top spot, Who have they played? Who will they play? nobody! Right now I'd rather see South Florida at number one. I'm keeping my eye on Arizona State. Have you seen their schedule? They have USC, Cal, and Oregon coming up. If they win out and don't play for the title something is wrong! Obviously, I'd love to see OU in the big game, they'd probably be number 1 now if they hadn't lost at Colorado!

Actually when Michigan lost to App St they dropped out of the polls completely from number 5. USC loses to an unranked stanford team.. they drop to 10.. from 2... Wisconsin loses to Penn St they drop 14 spots... Cal loses to Az st and they drop like they should have... KY is a good team and beat themselves in their only loss.. plus they were a ranked opponent with significant wins over other top teams. Finally a chance for WVU to actually control their own destiny to play in for the National Title instead of getting left out in the cold when they are the 3rd undefeated team in the polls! Now lets just hope they don't blow it against Pitt! 66-21 over UCONN, Can You say making a statement! WooHoo Go 'EERS!!!

I think rutgers is going to a 2nd or 3rd tier bowl. Better then going home I guess.
