View Full Version : Update on the babys room...

We just finished painting and putting up the wall border in the babys room :) The green definitely is better now than it was when we first painted it and the wall border really helps it look like a babys room instead of just a green room, so now it's ready for his furniture and after that I can finish decorating it.

Here are the pics so far. Against the white door you can tell the walls are slightly green and the border is soooooo cute!

That is a really light green, its almost white. The room looks really good...even though I still think you should have went with barnyard grass or fresh pine.

I've been taking it easy cuz my feet have been really swollen the last couple days but I was in bed all day today and it was driving me crazy so I had to do something :)

The walls look more green when you see it in person, the flash on the camera lightens it up a bit too, that's why I took the pic with the door in it cuz it did look what the first time I took them. Tomorrow im steam cleaning the carpet and then friday we are picking up the furniture. Once we get it situated in the room then I can put his bedding in the crib and put the wall decorations up and his little lamp etc. Im so excited!!!

the room does look good but one question, why isnt the border touching the ceiling? did you put it at that height for a reason?

Border can go wherever you want it to, either full ceiling height, or "chair" height or wherever.

Fife that looks soooooooooo cute!! I hope when we're done it looks just as cute :)

We're picking up the furniture tonight at 7. It still wont be done for a while though because a lot of the stuff I want is on my baby registry and my shower isnt until September 23rd. I still think it's coming along nicely though :)
