The minimum monthly price for an OC-3 is $11,500/month, whether on a one or three year term. If not subject to the minimum, the three-year OC-3 price has been calculated at $.0165/DS-0/mile/month (rounded up), with 2016 DS-0 circuits per OC-3, and the one-year OC-3 price is $.0185/DS0/mile/month. Installation costs $5,000 and takes 60 days. If the OC-3 price is not the minimum price, the number of miles is the OC-3 monthly price divided by $33.264.
