Has anyone here done anything outside of the normal dinner date? I want to get a thread going where you guys and girls give some examples of awesome dates you have had or planned. I will probably use the good ones and provide feedback...anyway I hope most of us have something in our repetoire besides the date/movie combo. Also, have you had any date experiences that did not work out as well as expected due to some unthought of, yet mostly unavoidable, issue?

Hrmm its a seasonal thing sometimes. Summer is obviously best, you can go to the beach or better yet a lake and bring your own food that you prepared with her in mind. Amusement parks are good but even better are fairs, the atmosphere is a lot better.
In the winter I like to take a girl to one of those indoor gamining places. Arcade games and greasy food! A nice game of mini golf where the girl wins is always a fun time..

I here you dude...my last date, I took her to Mallory Square and we celebrated sunset with a margarita (her) and pina colada (me)..then we walk around on the beach for awhile

Some of my most favorite dates were non-traditional ones. The sunset that Mr Weed posted is a great example, you cant buy a great sunset.
